Whoa, it’s been a year already?
I didn’t realize this week marks one year since I first published a post highlighting previous posts published each year on a specific day.
It was fun to walk down memory lane and check out the different types of posts I published on February 26 over the past 16 years.
- 2023: Photo of the Week: Ice Storm in Southern Michigan which resulted in one of our 25-year-old trees breaking major branches and eventually splitting the tree trunk from the weight of the ice and broken branches. We ended up having the tree taken out.
And replaced with one of my favorite trees, an Eastern Redbud. - 2021: February 26, 2021: My Weekly Roundup of Web Design and Development News
- 2020: Manage Your Privacy Settings: Links to Devices and Popular Services where I discussed the helpful resources on the National Cybersecurity Alliance website for reviewing privacy policies for common devices and online services.
- 2018: 5 Questions to Ask Before Publishing PDFs: As I point out in my post, education is key when it comes to publishing PDFs.
If organizations want to produce accessible content for everyone, they’ll need to invest in tools, training, and accessibility-checking processes. - 2017: Photo of the Week: Winter Rainbow at Lake Erie Metropark: Seeing a rainbow in the middle of February, a winter month in Michigan, was a first for me!
- 2016: 10 Takeaways from Building Accessible Forms: My notes from a webinar from AbilityNet, a United Kingdom charity that focuses on helping people with disabilities use digital technology, provided an excellent checklist for anyone designing/developing web forms.
