On a Lighter Note: Part 2

Hard to believe it’s been seven years since I published my first On a Lighter Note post, highlighting jokes, puns, and riddles I shared daily on the social network formerly known as Twitter.

When I left Twitter in 2022 (part of the first Twitter exodus), I moved to Mastodon, the open source decentralized social network.

But didn’t bring with me my daily habit of posting something fun to start of the day.

Eventually I started posting jokes on Mastodon and it’s again part of my daily routine.

Each day, my first post of the day is some kind of clean joke. Something you can share with an adult or a child.

We all could use more joy laughter in our lives.

Here are some of my recent favorites:

My boss told me to have a good day.

So I left.

What do Earth and an apple have in common?

A core.

What’s the best way to watch a fly fishing tournament?

Live stream.

Why are jigsaw puns so satisfying?

They always click.

Why was trigonometry class so long?

The teacher kept going off on a tangent.

If you have any clean puns or jokes, share them in the comments.
