Let’s kick off the New Year right! Join me at Metro Detroit WordPress Meetup on January 11, 2016 for our first event of the year.
We’re discussing Matt Mullenweg’s State of the Word address from the 2015 WordCamp US conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In addition, we’ll be talking about WordPress 4.4, highlighting what you can expect in the new features and what changed from earlier versions.
Our group leaders, Eric Malcolm and Cam Cecchini, will lead the discussion. We’d love to have members chime in with their thoughts on the SOTW as well as working with WordPress 4.4.
As always, we’ll have time to network and troubleshoot WordPress issues and answer WordPress questions at the end of the meetup.
Meetup Information and Registration
The event will be held Monday, January 11 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and requires pre-registration by January 10.
We’re returning to Grand Circus 1570 Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit (directions and map).
Do you want to help out with the meetup? Great!
We’d love to have you volunteer to help set up/take down the room, take notes, or shoot photos of the event. And if you volunteer, you can attend for free!
Cost is $5.00. Refreshments and snacks will be available.
Special thanks to A2 Hosting and Grand Circus for sponsoring our meetup.
I hope you’ll join us for sharing, learning, and networking. See you January 11!
