Join us Monday, September 13, 2021 to learn what’s new in WordPress.
We’ll be talking about what’s new in the latest version of WordPress as well as discuss what topics of interest the WordPress community is talking about.
What’s New in WordPress?
WordPress 5.8, named “Tatum” in honor of legendear jazz pianist Art Tatum, released July 20, 2021 brought a slew of new features as well as expanded functionality, including:
- Full Site Editing
- Duotone filters
- WebP format support
- Block-based widget editor
- Removal of support for Internet Explorer 11
- Many other features
We’ll cover some of the highlights and review what WordPress 5.8 introduces.
Meetup co-organizer Randy Walker will lead the discussion with a hands-on presentation and share his observations.
He’ll walk through some of the new capabilities live during our online meetup.

Meetup Information and Registration
The meetup is Monday, September 13, 2021 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Eastern Time; pre-registration is required.
We’re meeting online, using Google Meet for our videoconference platform.
The event is free to attend.
