What’s New in WordPress 6.2
The first major version for 2023, WordPress 6.2 is scheduled for release on March 28, 2023.
WordPress 6.2 will offer a number of new features and improvements, including what many WordPress users have been waiting for: the full site editor will come out of beta.
You’ll also find:
- Reorganized block settings with separate tabs for Settings and Style
- More header and footer patterns for block themes
- New controls for copying and pasting block styles
- Custom CSS, per block and globally
- Distraction Free mode to help you focus more on your writing
- Options to import certain widgets from classic to block themes

Meetup Information and Registration
The meetup is Monday, April 3, 2023 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
We’ll meet virtually online, using Zoom.
The meetup is free, but pre-registration is required.
