For WordPress users, designers, and developers, the annual State of the Word keynote address by WordPress co-founder Matt Mullenweg is a not-to-be-missed event.
State of the Word is when Mullenweg:
- Highlights WordPress accomplishments over the past year
- Discusses what WordPress users can expect in the future
- Answers questions from WordPress users
This year’s State of the Word is a hybrid event, with an in-person audience in New York City as well as livestream.
(I’ve been a fan of the State of the Word events for years, watching in person at the WordCamp US 2015 and 2016 conferences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.)
