When I published my post this week about EASI‘s (Equal Access to Software and Information) two free webinars on Zoom and Chromebooks, my friend Claire replied she was interested in attending.
But only if she could figure out when the webinars would be held in her time zone.
Might do if I can work out when it is UK time!

Whoops!
Though I added times for people in the United States (Mountain Zone, Central, and Eastern) in my post, I forgot to add a time zone conversion to the webinar date so anyone from around the world could find out what time the webinars would be held.
I apologized to Claire and updated my post with a time conversion link. Read on to find out how you can do that for your events.
How to Add Time Zone Converter Links to Your Event Announcements
You’ll find lots of free tools online to add time zone converter links to your event announcement, but my favorite is the Time Zone Converter tool from the Time and Date website.
You enter the city, date, and time for your event, and the site provides you a unique link which you can copy from the browser address bar.
Share that link with your readers so they can enter their own time zone to find out when the event will be held.
Or you can add the specific time zone or city, and the Time Zone Converter tool displays the time and date for the event for that time zone or city.
You can even enter a range of different time zones or cities and download the results to share with others.
Summary
When you’re hosting or announcing an online event, don’t make the mistake I did and forget to add time/date information for people who live in different time zones.
Add a Time Zone Converter link and make it easy for your attendees to know what time/date the event will be held.
