Love today’s Google Doodle celebrating the Fourth of July holiday in the United States.
With the “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band playing the Stars and Stripes in the background, a young fife player struggles to keep up with the rest of the band in the July 4th parade.
Creator Betsy Bauer said,
When I was a toddler, my dad was a high school band director and a baritone player in a couple of community ensembles. I have a lot of fond childhood memories of chasing fireflies during lawn concerts on town squares. It’s no surprise that I joined the high school marching band myself.
