Easy WP Guide Released for WordPress 5.7

Whether you’re new to WordPress or have been using it for years, you’ll want to check out the latest version of a resource I always recommend to WordPress users.

Easy WP Guide has been released, with the latest updates and enhancements for WordPress 5.7.

Intended for business owners, content strategists, writers, digital marketers, and anyone who manages content on a WordPress site, Easy WP Guide takes a step-by-step approach to helping you add and update your site content.

About Easy WP Guide

Created by my friend Anthony Hortin, Easy WP Guide is an easy-to-read manual to help you learn about the various WordPress features while keeping your site updated.

Without having to get into technical detail about how it all works.

From adding pages and posts to customizing buttons to adding a calendar view of posts and more, Easy WP Guide highlights features as it walks you through the steps to manage your content.

With over 200 pages, you’ll find explanations of options, screenshots with callouts for features, and information about functionality in WordPress.

Easy WP Guide is a no-code zone: you don’t need to know HTML, PHP, or any other type of code.

Do You Have to Know the Block Editor?

For WordPress users who haven’t transitioned to the Block Editor, Hortin hasn’t forgotten about you.

The guide is split into two sections for adding content to your site: Block Editor and Classic Editor.

You’ll find explanations and screenshots for using features in both editors.

I admit that’s one of the reasons I recommend Easy WP Guide: many WordPress users who contact me use the Classic Editor.

What Will You Find in Easy WP Guide?

In the 5.7 version of the guide, Hortin updated descriptions and screenshots for several blocks, including the Code Block, List Block, Preformatted Block, Cover Block, and more.

Here are a few of the topics from the Table of Contents:

  • Dashboard
  • Posts versus Pages
  • Adding your Site Content
  • Appearance
  • Plugins
  • Users
  • Tools
  • Settings
  • Keeping Your Site Updated

For content editing, Easy WP Guide is one of the best resources I recommend for self-hosted WordPress sites.

However, it’s not a resource for developing or modifying themes or plugins.

If you’re looking for development resources, visit the Theme Development handbook or Plugin Handbook.

  2. Mobile format in both ePub and MobiPocket formats (in English), at $11.00 (Australian dollars)
  3. Brandable Microsoft Word format, at $15.00 (Australian dollars). Available in English and Spanish.

Consultants and agencies: buy the brandable Easy WP Guide version (Word format) that is completely editable, and distribute it to up to 20 clients.

For each block of 20 clients, you’ll need to purchase an additional $15 license.

Wrapping Up

I’m always excited when Hortin releases a new version of Easy WP Guide for the latest WordPress version.

It’s a dependable, useful guide I know I can recommend to WordPress users. And I find it helpful for myself for learning about a new feature I haven’t used before.

With different formats, a free online website, and affordable pricing for mobile and brandable versions, Easy WP Guide will guide you in editing content on your WordPress site.

Have you used Easy WP Guide? Which version do you prefer, and why?

  1. Re my EasyWPGuide download problem, after many tries I finally and inexplicably received a complete copy of the 235-page PDF copy of the Guide that I was able to open.

    Case closed. Merci beaucoup.
