Today, along with hundreds of other parents who watched their child graduate from college, memories of his time in school came flooding back to me.
Walking him to school for the first day of first grade. Waving goodbye as he met his new teacher. Hoping he would make friends.
Remembering how happy he was when he started walking to school with his friends, sans mom.
His first play. Joining the school band.
The joy on his face when he received kudos from his teacher for a sports article he wrote for journalism class.
Those days seem to have gone by so quickly.
And now he’s walked his way to the podium to receive his diploma.
I couldn’t be more proud. And wishing him and his fellow classmates success as they move on to the next steps in their lives.
Congrats class of 2015!
