What a great way to kickoff 2021, with the release of the latest version of Easy WP Guide, updated with the new features and functionality from the December 2020 release of WordPress 5.6.

Since 2014 (hard to believe it’s been seven years!), I’ve recommended Easy WP Guide to clients, colleagues, and blog readers as well as members of the two WordPress meetup groups where I’m a leader: West Metro Detroit WordPress and Metro Detroit WordPress.

Like many prospective clients, Lee contacted me about troubleshooting issues on her self-hosted WordPress site.

Her consulting website was set up years ago by a designer who was no longer involved with the site.

Lee paid the monthly hosting and annual domain registration fees for her site.

There’s one thing I can say about 2020, it’s a year we’re all glad to leave behind.

COVID has taken away our friends, family, and colleagues as we struggle to keep ourselves and our families safe and healthy.

It’s hard to focus as the news highlights more cases and deaths in our hometowns and countries.

With news of COVID vaccines in the past few weeks, many people are finally seeing a light at the end of what we can describe as a terrible, horrible, no-good year.

I am looking forward to a better year in 2021.
