This week, January 24 to January 28, 2022, kicks off Data Privacy Week, an expansion of Data Privacy Day by the United States National Cybersecurity Alliance (NCA).

The goal of Data Privacy Week is to spread awareness about online privacy, by empowering individuals and businesses around the world to respect privacy, build trust, and safeguard data.

This week is Thanksgiving in the United States. Given the continuing COVID pandemic, many families and friends may not be gathering together for the holiday as they have in pre-pandemic years.

I’m hoping next year, our tradition of gathering together with friends and family will return.
