Last week, I enjoyed visiting the Philadelphia Flower Show for the first time.

I shared some of my favorite photos of flowers and plants as well as several shots from the Yellowstone National Park exhibit.

Takeaways from WordCamp Lancaster 2016

Last weekend I joined a couple hundred other bloggers, designers, and developers at the WordCamp Lancaster conference to learn and talk about WordPress.

This was my first WordCamp of the year and I had a wonderful time! I heard about WordCamp Lancaster last December at WordCamp US, and thought I might attend.

My friend Jeff posted on Facebook about a new kid-friendly visual search engine, commenting the search engine was launched by Google.

I was intrigued. And wanted to learn more.

Years ago, I worked in my son’s grade school library. Despite restrictions by the school district’s technology department for certain Internet sites, there were always searches that came up with questionable results for our students.
