Woohoo! Rosenfeld Media is having a summer sale on all their paperback books.
Through August 11, 2018, you can buy any of their user experience paperback books from their store at discounts of 15 to 50 percent.
Including their Library Pack of 31 books (I’m getting close to that with my individual purchases!)
As you can tell from the photo of all my Rosenfeld Media books, I’m a big fan of their publications. And that photo doesn’t include all my eBooks from Rosenfeld Media.
About Rosenfeld Media
Since 2008, Rosenfeld Media has helped people to learn to design better user experience. First by publishing books, later expanding to training and consulting.
Their wide range of books have helped beginners to expert user experience professionals learn new methods and strategies for creating better user experiences.
My Experiences with Rosenfeld Media
For me, I’ve been buying and reading their books since 2008, when I started working on the web services team at Washtenaw Community College.
In fact, I introduced our team to Lou and Rosenfeld Media books.
I know Lou through our local user experience community and met his parents when he came back to the University of Michigan for a special lecture.
Here’s a photo from our Michigan Usability Professionals Association networking event with Lou and Peter Morville in 2010.
Lou used stats from our college website in his Search Analytics for Your Site book he wrote and published in 2011 (find the case study on page 161).
I’ve also helped organize multiple group viewings of Rosenfeld Media online webinars.
I’m grateful for their support and sponsorship of past user experience and accessibility events I organized and hosted.
So, what are you waiting for? Stock up your library with all kinds of user experience books, including some of my favorites:
- A Web for Everyone by Sarah Horton and Whitney Quesenbery (my go-to book for all things web accessibility)
- Practical Empathy by Indi Young
- The User Experience Team of One by Leah Buley
Don’t forget, the sale ends at 11:59pm Eastern Daylight Time on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
