My Experience at Internet User Experience
I wrote about my experience at Internet User Experience (IUE) earlier; it was a defining event for me as I began to focus on user experience in my web design work.
You can see some of the photos from the 2008 IUE conference, taken by Chris Farnum, Dunrie Greiling, and Dan Cooney.
IUE is one of the few Michigan-based user experience and usability conferences where you have the opportunity to meet, learn, and network with area user experience professionals. Great learning experience and fun event that brings in people throughout Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, and beyond.
A conference reception is planned for Monday evening; other activities will be held to extend your networking opportunities.
For those who know me on Twitter, the 2008 conference was how I met many people in the user experience field when I held a Twitter contest for one of the IUE speakers.
Shoutout to Dave Mitropoulos-Rundus, co-founder of Michigan Usability Professionals Association, for once again organizing and hosting one of the premiere user experience events in our area.
I hope you consider attending!
