Dare I say spring has arrived in southeastern Michigan? It seems this weekend’s warm spell, with temperatures in the mid-forty degrees, has encouraged my purple spring crocuses to bloom. I’m glad to finally see them!
Photo of the Week: Nankin Mills Interpretive Center
As I was birdwatching this morning along Edward Hines Parkway, the road was blocked east of Ann Arbor Trail and I stopped at Nankin Mills Interpretive Center. I have wonderful memories of the center for my Girl Scout nature activities and I remember when the mill officially re-opened as an interpretive center in 2001.
