It’s back! I didn’t go to last year’s car show at the Canton Liberty Fest, after the car club closed down that had traditionally hosted the show.
But this year, I decided to return to check out the classic cars and trucks.

This great looking red 1922 Ford Model T fire truck was one of the first vehicles I saw this morning when I stopped in at the seventh annual Cruisin’ Hines cruise.
It’s bittersweet when the car cruise takes over Edward Hines Drive in Westland, Michigan.

A sunny Thursday summer evening usually finds me birdwatching at a nearby marsh or park.
But not last Thursday when I found myself parking my car on Cross Street in Depot Town and joining hundreds of people gathered to look at classic cars.
“Do you know anything about the race?” I asked the woman behind me as I walked down the sidewalk in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
