“Social Media, Websites & Blogging for the Writer” is the theme for this year’s one-day event on Saturday, March 25, 2015 at Oakland University.
What I’ll Be Presenting
My talk is Beginner Blogging with WordPress. We’ll go over the basics of setting up a great looking blog on WordPress.com, the hosted version of WordPress.
I’ll cover:

- Getting familiar with the WordPress Dashboard
- Selecting and installing a WordPress theme

Rochester Writers Spring Conference 2015
The conference is for aspiring and published writers who want to learn about online tools to produce, publish, and promote their writing.
The conference features local writers, social media experts, and web developers. Nikki Sunstrum, Social Media Director at the University of Michigan, will give a lunch presentation on goal driven social communications.
