- United Methodist Union

- Development and design of first website for an urban mission organization. Work included project management, custom design, content management system selection, site development, search engine optimization, online newsletter application, staff training and creation of a website maintenance manual. To better understand user needs, surveys, stakeholder interviews, and analysis of similar mission sites were completed. View the site.
- Board of Church and Society

- Redesign of local United Methodist Church district board website. Site was redesigned using Textpattern, a content management system. Work included information architecture, coding, and testing. View the site.
- Katherine's Catering

- Redesign of existing website with custom application programming. The new site features valid code developed with XHTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript using web standards and a table-less layout. Separation of markup, behavior, and presentation resulted in reduced page display time (50-400%), improved search engine rankings (from page 4 to page 1 for key words and phrases), and a more usable and accessible website. - Charm Travel Agency

- Creation of first web presence for southeastern Michigan travel agency. A Flash slideshow brings visual interest to the home page. XHTML, CSS, and PHP were used to create a cross-browser website using web standards and best practices. An easy to use, pleasant looking, professional website were the goals. View the site.
- Dak's Journey

- Set up and updated WordPress blog site design for a cancer survivor, updating CSS and imagery. The site is a central communication source for updates, treatment options, fundraising events, and cancer information links.
- Habitat for Humanity of Michigan

- Design and maintain statewide housing consulting nonprofit website since 1998. Redesigned in 2004 focusing on web standards, using valid XHTML for markup, CSS for presentation, and SSI. Visits increased 30%, rankings improved to the top-20 results in most search engines. View the site.
- Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County

- Maintain and update website for a rural housing nonprofit. Improved information architecture and provided cross-browser compatibility through site restructuring, CSS, JavaScript, ColdFusion code updates and Access database redesign. Updates resulted in 300% faster page display. View the site.
- Habitat for Humanity Detroit

- Designed and maintained website for an urban housing nonprofit. Originally designed in 1998, the site has gone through several CSS updates and restructuring. The site resulted in a $50K donation from a former Detroit resident who read about Habitat's work through the website.
- Osman Hope
- Redesigned website for nonprofit building shelters in Honduras and Central America. Work included competitive analysis, information architecture, content development, coding, and testing with the final release of the website in early 2003. View the original design.
- Newburg United Methodist Church
- Designed and maintained a site for a large church in suburban Detroit. Online since 1997, the website offered current events, programs, and an online newsletter.
- Canton Friendship Church
- Redesigned website for a newly organized church in suburban Detroit. Online since 1998, the site included newsletter, current events, and youth activities.
- FenderWorld
- Designed a new, small website for an aftermarket auto parts supplier in southeastern Michigan.
